Discovery Shores’s Terra Wellness Spa
From the time you enter Terra Wellness Spa at Discovery Shores in Station 1, Boracay Island till you get to your treatment room, the interior, tone and piped in music just gels together and makes you relaxed.
While it may mean earth, much of the space is woody toned and dominated by curves and undulations. The whole setup is simplified. You enter and is greeted with a beautiful front desk with interesting details running the whole of its lower part.
The left area is a curved table that acts as a display space too while merchandise is lined up from the door. Behind the cylindrical pillar is a couch. I do like this part of the ceiling with native materials while the floor is in wood.
But what really get one’s attention is the white wall with an undulating surface that reminds one of the beach at low tide. It is wavy and stretches from the right of the entrance, behind the front desk, curves and leads to the corridor where the treatment rooms are. It’s just beautiful.
Inside, treatment rooms are just divided with floor to ceiling curtains but still gives you privacy. I do love the circular area at the center. Too bad, the couple room is still being renovated and wasn’t able to photograph it.
