The Bonifacio Global City (BGC) Art Murals
For the past few years, I have been in awe of street art and art murals found in many capitals that I’ve been to. From Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok. From Taipei to Metro Manila. At the Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig, Metro Manila, year after year since 2015, there have been a series of commissioned street art and art murals done by both local and foreign artists. These BGC art murals, coming in different sizes, from gigantic wall art to life size to smaller than a human scale, have been a great way of getting Art to the masses, out in the public space where they have been much appreciated. In this post, I have photographed ten of the 2015 and 2016 series.
By the way, as I’m documenting street art wherever I travel, I opened a new Instagram account, LangyawStreet. Currently highlights those I found in Cebu City.
